Farkhad Nazipovich Iliassov. Classification of branches of sociology on the basis of the object of research. P. 46-54. Download PDF

The article proposes a classification of the branches of sociology, based on the understanding of sociology as a science that studies the behavior of large groups. In this case, the object of sociological research is the group, and the subject of research is the properties of the groups under study. The theory of group behavior is a universal theoretical system. Proceeding from the above understanding of the object and subject of sociology, it follows that two groups of branches are distinguished in sociology: a) on the basis of the object of research; b) on the basis of the subject of the study. A classification is given, a list of branches of sociologists for selected groups.
